Data Svanadze

Davit 'Data' Svanadze is a Georgian screenwriter and director. He was born and raised in Tbilisi, Georgia. He is based in Berlin, Germany. Data was first publicly recognized for his script writing skills by Ardelion Film Academy.

He actively works for local businesses as a video editor. Besides filmmaking, he is the author of a few short stories.

Dream: Maro's Entry

Maro Makashvili was 19 years old when she was killed by Russian Soviet Army in 1921 during the occupation of Georgia. She left to us her diaries and countless letters about her hopes and dreams. Film takes one of those entries to tell a story of hopelessness and painful irony.

Grief changes a man. For Dave (37) losing a sister not only brought sadness , but feeling of unresolved guilt. Fortunately, he is not alone while navigating array of emotions connected with past personal faults.
